THE FUTURE OF SCIENCE STARTS HERE
The Science Runway is a national mentorship and educational program that encourages, inspires, and mentors girls from underrepresented backgrounds and underserved communities interested in STEM and healthcare-related fields. Through mentoring sessions with female healthcare and STEM professionals, Our vision is to support, inspire, and encourage girls to follow their interests in and passion for STEM. We ultimately aim to address the alarming gender disparities in STEM fields by supporting the next generation of female STEM professionals.
Mentoring
The primary objective of Science Runway is to support and mentor young women who are interested in healthcare and STEM-related careers. Our mentor cohort is a diverse group of female healthcare leaders, spanning the provider, clinician, biopharmaceutical, patient advocate, technology, medical device, diagnostic, and policymaking ecosystems. Mentors meet with the students virtually to discuss their career path, the challenges and opportunities they face as female professionals, and what they do on a daily basis.
